Our Story
The Underground Ice Creamery began with a simple conviction: that ice cream deserves the same reverence as wine, coffee, or chocolate. Located beneath the energy of North Tioga Street, we've built a space where the old-world techniques of Italian gelato-making meet the creative pulse of Ithaca.
Every batch is churned in small quantities, using whole ingredients and recipes developed over years of refinement. We source dairy from regional farms and build our flavor lineup around what's seasonal, honest, and worth savoring slowly.
